I Want To Walk Away...

I have reached a point where I could not care less about anything within the boundaries of a certain perimeter. I just could not give a rat's ass anymore. They can say what they want. I am the least bothered about the opinions of those who do not matter.

The Head knows and the Heart feels. There is no point holding on when there is nothing for me to cling on to in the first place. I am fueled by emptiness, it is consuming my being from within and the limit has been breached. It is now affecting me holistically. This won't do. It simply won't do. I should disallow myself to be wrapped around the little finger of this encumbrance and be happy. There is more to life than this...

Plans change. Symptomatic of consequences that are sometimes beyond our control. And I need to accept the fact that not everything works out the way we envisioned it to be when we were younger.

Shit happens. Outside this circus, life's peachy.

A Bride and Her Heels

Love this shot. A bride's heels tend to be overshadowed by other visible things like the veil, jewellery or bouquet as her dress covers it. And these are the heels that she will be walking in from an ending life chapter to the starting point of the next. These are the heels that will be with her when she steps onto a fresh page and embarks on the nuptial journey as Woman and Wife.
For this, I have been Glamorized... you know what makes my heart flutter and it is indeed my precious. Thank you babe :)
The circus is in town and has decided to stay until Thursday. Sigh. Dear God, please give me the strength for two more days and grant us good weather on Monday.

None Shall Sleep

"Nessun dorma! Nessun dorma! Tu pure, o Principessa, nella tua fredda stanza, guardi le stelle che tremano d'amore, e di speranza!"
("None shall sleep! None shall sleep! Even you, O Princess, in your cold bedroom, watch the stars that tremble with love and with hope!")
"Ma il mio mistero è chiuso in me; il nome mio nessun saprà! No, No! Sulla tua bocca lo dirò quando la luce splenderà!"
("But my secret is hidden within me; none will know my name! No, no! On your mouth I will say it when the light shines!")
"Ed il mio bacio scioglierà il silenzio che ti fa mia!"
("And my kiss will dissolve the silence that makes you mine!")
"Il nome suo nessun saprà... E noi dovrem, ahimè, morir, morir!"
("No one will know his name... and we will have to, alas, die, die!")
"Dilegua, o notte! Tramontate, stelle! Tramontate, stelle! All'alba vincerò! Vincerò! Vincerò!"
("Vanish, o night! Set, stars! Set, stars! At dawn, I will win! I will win! I will win! ")

Song loop today is a famous aria from Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot. Made famous by one of the most commercially successful tenors of all time, Luciano Pavarotti.
Listening to her shortens my life span and I already have a premature expiry date before she took over the world. Sometimes when it gets unbearable, the mind conjures images of self infliction where I hit myself on the head with the phone receiver repeatedly as she goes on and on...
Playing this over and over again soothes me.
One fine day... All'alba vincerò! Vincerò! Vincerò!
