Hello, March :)

from curiosity killed the cat

Today marks the end of another life chapter in the story of my life.

2.6 years have passed since I moved down to the island to secure a role that ticked off one to-do box in the list. Some memories seem like yesterday when you have selected photographic memory. I can still recall how ecstatic I was, to be granted the opportunity. I had no reservations, no fear in me. I simply leaped. Without a tinge of doubt. One day, I would like to act and feel this way again.

I have made real friends in the form of colleagues who supported me and spoke on my behalf when I could not speak for myself. I have seen the substance of bosses, what they are really made of when it matters most. And once more, I have learned that everyone is replaceable. After all, it is just a job. Nothing personal.

Bittersweet feelings fill me but my time is up.

I will enjoy my hiatus to the fullest and prepare for what is in store when April comes.

In the whole, this girl is happy.
