My Wish For Everyone
Love...who can deny that it leaves us flabbergasted. More often than not if we're single, 'messily attached' or 'somehow attached'.
Deciding to spend your life with someone and having children with them is one of the most important promises anyone will ever make. No one knows for sure what's gonna happen in an union. Good or bad, happy or sad, of course we hope it will be a happily ever after no matter what. Marriages are not made in heaven, they are made here on earth and unfortunately, there is no such thing as perfection on this planet we live in.
It is the same for relationships. If we're the perpetrator, we move on faster. Some even before the path of togetherness have split into two. If we're the broken hearted, we are left to pick up the pieces and to fend for ourselves. All we can do is be glad in our hearts that we were one half of another for an episode in time. Remember the good things when we look back so as to not kill ourselves wondering why, why, why? Ponder into the bad stuff only if we have the intention of learning and not repeating the mistakes both parties made when we are pursuing a new relationship. No one wants bad history to repeat itself.
A majority of us like to believe in the concept of The One where we fall in love with an individual for 'who they are'. However, as mankind evolved into more complex beings there was a shift in focus. We started to dwell in the qualities of a person to sum up whether they are an ideal partner, a potential life partner at that. We use markers presently (looks, financial stability, religion, family background etc) in our evaluation to aid our decision making. Needless to say, this is a benchmark applied to when finding The One in the age of the 21st century. We see highlighting 'what they are' as necessary also; for as the saying goes, 'No one can survive and live on love alone'.
Following the concept of The One. Yes, the best looking, richest, smartest, funniest, kindest person who would settle for us, who was meant for us is somewhere out there in the vast billions of people. But the question is do we wait? For this dream might never arrive at reality and we may be alone till the end if we insist on waiting for him or her to appear. And what if we think we've found the right one but somehow it's at the wrong time? Do we wait patiently until the time is right?
A rationalization by a wise one.
"If you think he's the right one but circumstances equate that it's simply wrong timing, then it's not meant to be even if your heart screams his name. For if it was, everything should fall, should be in its place accordingly. You should so much not settle for but choose and give yourself wholeheartedly to the best person who's around. It's the proper thing to do if you want peace of mind, peace in your life...".
What I summarized? Peace of heart, brings about peace of mind and peace of life.
Sigh, with all the love confusion happening in the world today...
Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight
I wish I may, I wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight
I wish for us to be simpler like dolphins...for when they find a mate, it's for life.

Human brain and mind are way too complicated, especially to love, which is so subjective. No one can really understand it. It's an art that everyone will look at it in a different way.
To be happy of what we currently have and not to compare is one way of pursuing a simple life, but somehow, who can really do this?
I wish your wish will come true...
I wished my wish would come true too then Life and Love would be less complicated. Just simple...
But then again, Life and Love is not complicated, more often than not we make it so. We're responsible for what we make of it.
True when you say both are like art. Perception and opinions differ. Nevertheless, everyone sure hopes for the same thing, to find his/her masterpiece to treasure for keeps, for always.
