To Love or Not To Love

"To love is to suffer.
To avoid suffering one must not love.
But then one suffers from not loving.
Therefore to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer.
To suffer is to suffer.
To be happy is to love.
To be happy then is to suffer.
But suffering makes one unhappy.
Therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness.
I hope you're getting this down"
Woody Allen's rationalisation of Love, suffering and happiness.
Had to read it thrice to understand where he's coming from. Mondays make you naturally incapable of comprehension. Intellectual capacity seems to be at its lowest on this day. Darn. I wish it was Friday.
One does wonder what was going on in the workings of his mind when he thought of the above. Such simple words yet it holds much complexity.
In brief, Love and happiness leads to suffering... but suffering from too much happiness? Now that's something I've gotta try.

All start from the element- "Love". What a powerful element.
