Queen of Rain
I made an executive decision at work on Friday and dreamed that something bad was going to happen from it on the same night. Even though I cleared every corner, every nook and cranny before signing on the dotted line, my instincts bothered me for the whole weekend. Sure enough (another brownie point for my instincts), the dream became reality for I did not consider the possibility of recklessness in another. Ironically, part of me somehow felt relieved as the uneasy feeling I've been experiencing disappeared when I was delivered the bad news.
In most cases, every problem has a solution (or a few) to it. It's a matter of figuring out the available options, evaluating what can/cannot be used/accepted and making the best out of the unwanted situation. Breathe.... I will just have to put a plaster on the damage done.
Only seven days into September and it's going to be quite a month, already.
- Project Nest goes full swing with expected bumps
- The Family will be down in the island
- F1 weekend
- Completion of Plan B formalities
- Usual work circus for the quarter
- Homeward bound
Nevertheless, am anticipating mini happies despite the fact that I am starting to feel sluggish and tired, looking at the bullet points.
Once again, the year is approaching its finale (how time flies) and I've come a long way, looking back at the months that have passed. As another birthday lingers near, I realise that there are some things we can truly let go when we reach a certain age or phase in our lives. And we can tell ourselves we do not give a rat's ass anymore.
Here's to writing these things off in the sky and waving them goodbye...
There's a time for the good in life,
A time to kill the pain in life,
Dream about the sun,
You queen of rain...
