A Pledge
Like its wings, am aware of the lightweight value a butterfly’s promise now carries.
But a better 2007 ÿou² will have.
Liberated from uncertainties. Emancipated from reservations.
Because the world will still have the nerve to keep on turning.
The sun will still have the balls to keep burning.
And the moon, the gall to keep staring.
Even though the heart cannot stop caring.
For ÿou²… Hence, there will be fluttering.
But a better 2007 ÿou² will have.
