Just so that it is recorded somewhere...
What did I say... bad things come in 3s and no. 3 striked.
Over the weekend I experienced the worst case of food poisoning. Vomitted twice. Purged for 9 hours. Dizzy spells. Tummy aches. Lower BP (I already have low BP).
Doc said, "If you're still purging and if your BP continues to drop, I will have to start you on a drip." I was in too much pain to react.
Felt like a withered rose. And I completely lost my appetite. Looking at food just made me feel like throwing up and I'm still regaining my strength. I reckon I cleared a whole lot of toxins but it was not worth it. Have like 2 types of antibiotics to complete now. One for this (food poisoning) and another for my ear infection (I can still hear the echo). I can't figure out what I ate that triggered the flushing mechanism in my body. The only meal I had on Friday was a plate of seafood pasta but it could not have been that, or could it be it?
No Country For Old Men was to me, a film for fans of the Coen brothers. Must say Javier Bardem did an excellent job in bringing chills down my spine, like Anthony Hopkins did in Silence of the Lambs. Coincidentally, he also won an Oscar for his superb performance. Perhaps it's easier to deliver a convincing portrayal as a psychopath.
Shoes! Shoes and more shoes! It's the Nine West members only sale tomorrow! Shall flutter over to Pavilion during lunchtime and see if there's anything to grab :) Hey, retail therapy is the best therapy, right?
