The Messy Carousel

Life...it's messy sometimes. I guess it's how we are that stems this. It's how we were made. Our parents sweating it out, performing and enjoying their horizontal tango. Us emerging from our mother's womb, all innocent and angel-like but covered and wrapped with vernix and blood.

It's as though it was natural for us to get ourselves dirty, and tangled up in sticky situations. We try to tie a nice ribbon but create knots instead and struggle to undo them.

We can't deny we have not been told. We can't say we didn't know better but still we do the things we do, against our very own practical judgement and those who care because there are just some things that you will put your head and heart into regardless of the consequence. Things which you have to see for yourself. Emotions which you have to experience. Lessons which you will learn your own version of.

Hence, at the end of the day, isn't knowing better than wondering? Even if we trip, fall, bruise, scar and hurt ourselves in the process. Doesn't it beat the crap out of never trying? Of never taking a step?

Perhaps we're not meant to be contented. Perhaps it's like a curse, a perpetual baggage we humans have to carry for a lifetime. Perhaps happiness is simply identifying and appreciating what we have for what it is. Wanting nothing more, needing nothing less.

The carousel of life...it never stops turning...and you can't get off...

The celebration is when you lose control, regain balance and stand on your own two feet again...for that is when you will know you have triumph. Stronger and hopefully, a wiser and better person than before.

Agreed no more. The messy carousel will never ends. Perhaps we created it ourselves in the first place. Only if we were to know how to be contented... we probably don't have to experience this. But the good thing is, we all learned from it.

**Oh yea, preferred your old draft... instead.

If only we could learn from the mistakes of others and apply it in our lives...

This would spare us from more messiness.
