Goodbye Year of the *Woof woof*

I look forward to the CNY mainly for one reason. No, not the mandarin oranges (too much can make you turn yellow), not the angpows (well, I used to until I reached the marriageable age of the norm and people started asking when will I be giving instead), not the food (I'm low maintenance when it comes to the edibles), not the firecrackers, not the unbearable CNY songs played in malls etc.

It's because I get to travel :)

06 - Perth
05 - Singapore
04 - Singapore
03 - Singapore

Yes, 3 years in a row for Singapore. There's just an aura about the Lion City that draws me there and I love it. I simply LOVE it. Ask me to abandon KL anytime, I'll gladly pack my bags and be ready to go.
For this year, the family and I decided to take our virgin trip to Hong Kong. No trouble in packing like I ever so often do (rushing myself like hell for I hate packing, always leaving it to the very last minute) as half my luggage bag is empty. Empty for new shoes, bags and clothes :) Travelling light for the first time and I even left my hair dryer at home! Me and my hairdryer have this till death do us part thing going on and those who know me, KNOW this for a fact. I never travel without it. Never. Why, even my dad who is sometimes expressionless and unfazed by things surrounding him was surprised so go figure. Come to think of it, I'm half regretting now but it's a little too late to turn back and grab it. I'm so gonna miss it when I blow dry with the standard hotel hair dryer. It's hard to find the best in something else when you've found the best in one thing. Although the functions are similar, there IS a difference. Likewise in that one person who's the Love of your Life. He or she will be irreplaceable. *sip sip Starbucks hot choc*
Hhmm...
I have an idea of what I'll be doing throughout the 6 days. Shall observe this strict routine daily. It's imperative. Shopping. Sightseeing. Shopping. Eating (moderately). Shopping. Sleeping. Shopping. Shopping. Shopping. Shopping. Shopping! *chuckle*
Before I flutter off to the boarding gate, here's wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year... may the Year of the *Oink oink* bring thankfulness to you.
Blessed are those who have contentment in their hearts, for they will see good things in their lives.
P/S Be good Birdy :P *proo proo*
