Chasing Pavements
I've made up my mind,
Don't need to think it over,
If I'm wrong I am right,
Don't need to look no further,
This ain't lust,
I know this is love but,
If I tell the world,
I'll never say enough,
Cause it was not said to you,
And that's exactly what I need to do,
If I'm in love with you,
Should I give up,
Or should I just keep chasing pavements?
Even if it leads nowhere,
Or would it be a waste?
Even If I knew my place should I leave it there?
Should I give up, Or should I just keep chasing pavements?
Even if it leads nowhere
I'd build myself up,
And fly around in circles,
Waiting as my heart drops,
And my back begins to tingle
Finally could this be it
Should I give up,
Or should I just keep chasing pavements?
Even if it leads nowhere,
Or would it be a waste?
Even If I knew my place should I leave it there?
Should I give up,
Or should I just keep chasing pavements?
Even if it leads nowhere
- Chasing Pavements by Adele
Good stuff. My bro downloaded this song to my phone the last time I went home in December. Finally listened to it a few days ago for the first time when I was trying to sleep but couldn't, and started fidgeting with the music player function in bed.
I remember the year he bought me a butterfly shaped earring display rack that I wanted for my birthday when I didn't hint him on it. Or when he bought me a book from the Sophie Kinsella Shopaholic series. And the Jamiroquai Greatest Hits CD for Christmas. There are more instances but this is what I could extract from the top of my mind as I'm almost gone for the day from my less spirited mood.
Sometimes the boy surprises me.
