Pre-23
Last night was surreal...
Purple and black balloons enough to fill my entire boot, room and office space.
Diamante star fairy wand to 'bless' people with.
Perfect purple dress with a black ribbon to wear for Christmas.
Have never felt the negative notion about turning older and I think (until I stand corrected by myself) I won't be experiencing it for a long time to come even though the big 30 is approaching soon. Birthdays are meant to be celebrated. For it's not just another day...
I simply love the merry month of December for the obvious reason why. And the fact that Christmas is tagged in it makes everything more wonderful and I reckon I'm not the only one who feels this way. Don't wanna sound bias but in my opinion Christmas decorations in malls are the loveliest compared to other festive seasons. And the carols/jingles/songs played adds to the whole euphoria and one can't help but sing or hum along while shopping.
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you...

Talking about shopping. Shame on me. Did not manage to conquer my list over the weekend. I still have 7 names left to cross out on my gift list and it struck me today that Christmas is next Tuesday! Gosh.
Must. Be. Done. With. List. Die-die. By. Tomorrow. Latest.
