Same Script, Different Cast
Everyone has a story to tell. It's whether they choose to or not. Suppress or express.
And at times when we're riding low in life and despirited, it is comforting to know that we're not the only ones who seemingly get ourselves tangled in situations that breed complicatedness. Makes us feel less alone, makes us dwell less on the negatives to work on the positives.
I found this comfort in an unlikely familiar stranger. We're running on the same script, but our roles differ. She might not have understood most of my actions, but she comprehended the situation in entirety. The mechanics of it. What drives it. What fuels it. What created it in the first place.

And as always and proven, the grass is ever so often greener on the other side. Mutually, we thought a reverse of roles would do us both good. Unfortunately, life does not work this way. At the end of the day, we are left to tackle our own devices.
